Let's check meaning,  (ask)

Who is the fastest runner in the world? 



Where is the highest mountain in the world? 



Mount Everest is the world’s highest mountain. Its peak is an eye-watering 8,848 metres above sea level.
Everest is situated on the border between Nepal and the autonomous region of Tibet. 



Remind the pupils that with short adjectives you add -est but with longer adjectives you use the word most. For adjectives that end in -y, you need to remove the -y and add -iest.
